Transform Your Health or Transform Your Health Now
Community & Non-Profit
Grow Well is a small farm-based wellness space where people will come to receive health counseling, nutritional guidance and participate in workshops and activities that connect them more deeply with nature, food, animals, healthy movement and themselves. The broad target audience is generally adults, likely women primarily, who are overweight or facing health conditions that can be altered through gentle nutritional and emotional changes. We also have an interest (in the future) in working with families. The space is retreat-like and the idea is to pair support, food and beauty to inspire lasting changes in wellness. The name of the farm where Grow Well happens is Lazy Turtle Farm. Ideally, we'd like the farm and Grow Well logos to overlap. We may seek to also have a logo with Lazy Turtle Farm using the same image/elements. We have imagined the logo being of a food producing plant (like a pea plant, a vine or a fruit tree or something like it) or something to connote health vegetables to eat, along with possibly a lazy turtle image of some kind. Having said that, we are feeling that these elements may be too limiting for you, the designer, and we hope you'll just consider the business and draw something that, to you, pulls the farm and wellness together, with the priority message tot he consumer being that this is a place that will inspire and support you with transforming your health
Logo types to explore
Everything I'm sending is just drafty stuff. We do hope the eventual logo will have elements that we can use for both the farm and the wellness business. The "lazy turtle" theme of the farm is sort of a zen, one step at a time, enjoy balance and quiet contemplation idea. Farming, like life, is actually a crazy amount of work, so slow and contemplative farm work is an art to aspire towards ;). Also, in the name "Grow Well," I think that the word "grow" grounds the business in the farm, while the word "well" indicates our infinite capability to heal. I think the word "well" needs to look different and call a viewer to think of Wellness. We want the customers to see the unique farm-based nature of this wellness space, but don't want to confuse anyone into thinking this is a plant-growing or child development business.
