I enjoyed working with Alex to design a logo and brand identity for my law firm. He is a talented designer as well as being communicative and responsive. I particularly appreciated the variety and number of variations he provided so that we could narrow down the final design. I would work with him again!

Very easy designer to deal with....made sure I had all the necessary files, and that they were all correct, before the changeover was completed. A+++ rating. Thank you.

I am trying to create a top shelf, premium poker supplies brand. The products I'm selling include poker chips, poker chip cases, poker cards, etc.
The target audience is poker players in their 20's-30's, 95% male. The members of my target market pay top dollar for high end brands such as Gucci and Prada.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

I would like the logo to be an illustration of a hammerhead shark integrated in some way the poker spade (/ace of spades). I am open to other original works but I love the strength of these two symbols and would like to see them integrated in different ways.
I strongly favor illustrations of sharks that are facing down and forward, since this posture shows the most predatory strength of the animal. The ace of spades is the ultimate symbol for the power in a deck of cards.
I don't want anything cartoony. It's a serious brand that needs to project strength, superiority as well as a sense of subtle dignity and prestige.
The attached image was done by a friend who was sketching out some ideas for me. I like this image but felt it needed refinement and anyone is free to do renditions of his work.
I love the font "Luna Bar" from Dafont.com. Script fonts on the whole are a little risky, but this one hits the spot for me. It feels "sharky" and is reminiscent in style of other prestigious poker related names such as Aria, Rio, and Rayban.
