Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The logo should reflect the company name. That means you've got either stonehenge, or a part of stonehenge, such as a menhir or two. And you'e got thorns. Maybe you've got a thorny vine wrapping around a menhir. Maybe you've got celtic knotwork of thorns insdie the shape of standing stones. Go crazy. Splat some ideas on the screen. I'm looking for something graphical, and if it's not black and white, it converts well to black and white. One thing this design will get used for again and again are vacuum-formed plastic trays inside game boxes - every game the company ever makes will likely have one of these trays, and the logo will be shaped into it. Vacuum forming for these trays captures the detail of your design well, but it's a nightmare to put in a ton of fine lines. (You have to drill a hole in the mold for each end of each line, to let the vacuum pull the plastic down to the mold.) So designs that have tons and tone of fine lines are going to get vetoed. The design doesn't have to be totally chunky, but chunky will be favored over spidery. This also means that while colorful designs are awesome, the design needs to survive as a shape without color included, since that's all that stamped plastic will show. As an example of a vacuum molded plastic box insert check out this image from "Alea"'s award winning game, "Puerto Rico": http://cf.geekdo-images.com/images/pic63380_md.jpg Notice the company logo pressed into the center of the plastic tray. I'll be looking to do something like this with the logo you design.
