The logo is for a YouTube show that aims at teaching the basics of Innovation and Design to a wide spectrum of audience with focus on families. The program aims at making innovation and design a living room topic.
1- Families (including kids older than 6 years old.
2- Professionals that are not familiar with topics of innovation and design.
1- Youtube show that serves as a video toolbox.
2- Website that helps communicate with both viewers and the design community that helps build the kit (videos)
3- Global event that helps put the knowledge families have gained into practice. They will be supported by mentors from the innovation and design community.
Scope of engagement:
1- Logo: Typography+ emblem (symbol)
2- Animated Logo intro+ separators.
3- Extending the logo into a visual identity system could be discussed at a later stage.
The general brand identity should be homey, casual but not childish.
The sound that would normally be used all around is the popcorn popping.
The animation could follow the attached rhythm (only once, not twice as attached). Voice will still be recorded by a native voiceover talent.
Some thoughts and inspirations:
1- Popcorn here is used to represent ease and fun. Something that you normally do at the comfort of your home.
2- The act of popcorn popping also resembles how ideas pop in your head and behavior in ideation sessions.
