the impact of corruption on Californians
Community & Non-Profit
We make Californians aware of the human impact of political corruption in our state, by drawing a bright red line between the money that is exchanged by bad actors (politicians and contributors) and the suffering that it causes. Target audience is younger: high school through 35 years old.
Logo types to explore
The complete tagline is 'the human impact of corruption *in California* -- we would like the "in California" aspect communicated graphically. **Above all, we would like the banner logo treatment to be very simple and display clearly on smartphones. Any detail and hard to read lettering that does not do that won't work well for us.** We are developing content now, but the basic structure of the site is at http://brightredline.wpengine.com/ The state flag has a 'bright red line' along its bottom border. This may be worth incorporating into the logo. Or not. A shared a file that includes images of the state flag, seal, etc... is on the 99designs contest site. Here is a share link to some other graphic elements that might do that. http://graphicriver.net/collections/shared/1698b272745e2af2f7e2821c8cc5e30b6d521efcd6c5120ba2da7f39820532e0 ** If you would like to use one of the other images - and do not want to purchase - please tell me and I will get it for you. Required output: 1. Square or rectangular logo for general use online. No tagline. 2. Desktop banner treatment with logo and tagline (1024 by approximately 175 pixels) 3. Mobile-friendly banner treatment with logo and tagline. 4. Favicon We uploaded our 'homegrown' logo.. in the example logos section. We will be using this theme for the site and would like you to consider this for context of typography. http://my.studiopress.com/themes/daily-dish/#
