We did a logo for Heritage Executive Suites a few months ago
(attached). We are expanding to add an open office area that has a
coffee shop ambiance, where entrepreneurs or artists or young
professionals can be a member and make that their work space. It will
have collaboration areas, small meeting rooms, comfortable chairs
with laptop tables, and a coffee bar. The interior has a historical
brick wall, and an open ceiling to give it an industrial chic feel.
We want to call it The Commons. The combined name will be "Heritage
Suites and Commons"
First, I'd like to modify the existing logo slightly to add "and
Commons" for use in printed material.
Second, I'd like a standalone logo for "The Commons" for the building
signage, that is compatible with the suites logo since they will be
25 feet apart, but with more of a hip vibe that appeals to the 20-30
year old demographic.
Picture shows both spaces together. New logo will fit over space 4B.
No coffee cups in logo. But maybe use the darker brown from suites
logo as primary color, and the "leaf" shape in the main logo could
somehow be re-purposed to represent steam (like from a coffee cup) to
hint at this ambiance. Wouldn't mind having logo enclosed in a
circle, with steam extending past the top of circle. The font will be
in establishing a relaxed but techie "feel".
Stay with the browns rather than trying to use the green from Suites
logo, to give more of a mocha feel.
Is there an element that would lean it toward tech?
Note location of logo placement on new picture attached. The Suites
are staying in place. The Commons is the new open office addition.
