jared Q got their new logo design by running a design contest:
We need a new logo (hip and on trend) for a brand new, design-centric, premium photography brand.

Super Fun Happy Booth is an exciting new 'open air' style photobooth company that are focusing on a premium experience for their customers. No more daggy backdrops, or tacky props, SFHB are taking photobooths to the next level of awesome! We'll primarily target hip wedding clients as well as corporate functions. It's important to us that we create a logo that is really 'cool'. We know that's not a super narrow brief, but we really want something that feels effortless and cool. It should be very much on trend, but with a very slight feminine vibe, as the majority of our target market will be women. It's also a premium product. We don't want to pigeon hole things by saying it should be hipster, but it's probably a good place to start. In thinking about our brand the following words come to mind, organic, handcrafted, boutique, quality, handwritten.
Logo types to explore
Whilst we're starting off with a logo, we'd love to work further with the winning designer on our secondary branding to further develop the overall look and feel of the brand. We've selected a ShootCase photobooth in case you need to see what an 'open air' style photobooth is. We've referenced a few script fonts above. But they whole thing doesn't need to be script fonts. Just say the text was split onto multiple layers (stacked) you could play around with using different complimentary typefaces. Eg: use a script style typeface for top layer. We're digging a Pastel Palette - but it doesn't need to be in the logo. Logo could be solid white and all of the pastel is in other parts of the identity. Beauty EDU is a good example of this: http://www.beautyedu.edu.au/the-school
