This is a logo for an annual book and lecture tour promoting preparedness and strong foundations for Baby Boomers who want their second half of life to be as healthy and fun as the first half-maybe even better. (We are not a non-profit, but most of our events will be free, having industry sponsors)

Has to be easily understood from a banner or sign. Should be inspiring, hopeful, fresh and if this makes any sense, feel solid, yet witty and youthful. The audience is baby boomers. Must not evoke stereotypes of age! Possibly unexpected-for instance, we are recommending chocolate, coffee and wine as health foods! The Apple computer logo is one of my favorites.
