Purple Heist
Purple Heist is an Urban Apparel Company. Our target market will be male and female ages 18-30. We want our logo and designs to be very creative, with an urban/street style, but at the same time very professional and sleek.
We chose our name because it can have a few different meanings. The purple can stand for the color purple, royalty, or "purp" (form of marijuana). So it would be the heist or "takeover" of these things. These are our ideas/concepts that will hopefully be portrayed in our designs and possibly our logo. However we are looking for something simple like my two example logos (BLVD Supply & Young & Reckless). Something simple, sleek, creative and urban that can stand alone and look good. Something that we can change the colors/background colors and it will still look great. Our main purpose for a logo will be for our company tags on our clothing. We will also incorporate our logo in many of our design schemes, and use it on the internet to advertise our company.
I am hesitant to put this next part because first I'd like to see what
designers can come up with on their own. When we were brainstorming ideas for
the logo, my partner and I thought it might be pretty cool to have an emblem to
go with the logo. Something we can incorporate into many of our designs. Kind
of like how BLVD Supply Co. uses a palm tree in their logo and almost all their
designs. We think either a "money bag," or a "weed palm
tree" would be pretty cool. The weed palm tree would be a palm tree with a
weed leaf up top. Maybe draped down weed leaves to make it look like a palm
tree. Or just regular weed leaves, whichever looks the best.
I was also hesitant to add the P's I uploaded photos of because I do not
want to narrow the minds of the designers. But use them for what it's worth.
I love those P's ...Maybe if anything these ideas can spark new ideas or give ideas of what styles
I like/dislike.
Crowns would be cool to incorporate also. We are going for a very
urban/street look so always keep that in mind.
Ill upload a sketch I did as well. I'd like to see it as a variation although I think designers could come up with stuff way better than mine. So maybe don't even worry about it, but I'l post anyways in case someone wants to try it. Obviously ass your own spin to it...Those "dots" on the bottom of the P and top of the H should actually just be larger strokes, like where the marker "started." Then the p and h should be so long... and definitely a more hand drawn urban looking crown.. anyways use this idea for what it's worth. Again with all these ideas, I want designers to come up with their own variations as I think professional designers (you all) would have better ideas than an amateur (me/us)...
