Sylvie Yannello is a musician and piano teacher. The logo should reflect two sides of her career, one as a pianist, singer, and drummer, and the other as music teacher/piano teacher. While primarily a rock musician, she also does wants to obtain the following types of work:

pianist/musical director for church services and choir rehearsals/programmes

solo performer at private parties/corporate events

solo performer at piano bars

So the logo (and eventually the site that will feature this logo) must come off as rock-&-roll without scaring off these other types of clients.

The logo should incorporate the colours red and black, preferably red RGB #ff0000

The logo does not necessarily have to include the whole name Sylvie Yannello. If there is way to use just the initials SY in the logo, in a way that they are integrated into the graphic itself (not like a logo with "SY" or "Sylvie Yannello" as a tagline with it), that would be preferred.

i am primarily a pianist, primarily a rock pianist, who plays especially the music of elvis costello, and to a lesser extent elton john, billy joel, and david bowie. the logo should reflect some of that character.
