Community & Non-Profit
The Ohio Association of County Boards of Developmental Disabilities (OACB) is a trade association representing local government agencies that serve people with developmental disabilities in Ohio. As part of our mission to support county boards of DD, we host professional trainings events every year. One of these events is the annual Annual Convention, which requires a logo and themes.
This year's Annual Convention will be an all-virtual event, and we need a designer to create a logo that communicates the idea of working remotely. This could include elements such as computers, computer mice, monitors, screens, video calls, or other concepts. It should have at least 6 colors and be roughly square. It should be energetic and bright. The design needs to look modern, but it should not look like clip art or stock illustrations. We want the design to use saturated, vibrant colors and some gradients for soft edges. It would be especially good if the design conveyed some other ideas such as working from a new location, connecting with people through technology, or the theme of "change" because of how so much has changed during the pandemic. But these ideas should not get in the way of the basic concept, which is remote and virtual work.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.

And then… they selected a winner!
HTM was great to work with! He provided us an initial design which we liked but asked him to go a completely different direction in and then he came up with a completely new logo which we LOVED. He is also hyper responsive and great at receiving feedback! Would definitely recommend!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
