Entertainment & The Arts
AsiaObscura.com is a fun, entertaining, QUIRKY record of the strange/unique around Asia. It's a personal blog, but it's also a hub for stories about daily expat life happening on places including abandoned theme parks, cafes that use monkeys as waiters, taxidermy museums, midget amusement parks, etc. Most of the reports are from countries such as Mongolia, China, Japan, India, Thailand, etc.
Logo types to explore
Similar sites are Boingboing.net and io9.com. If you're a good cartoonist, an anime/manga-version of me with (or eating?) the logo could be a fun add -- there are pictures of me at http://asiaobscura.com/2011/10/mad-costumes-across-asia.html -- I like the cartoon elements of this guy... http://99designs.com/people/durinthiam/wins
