Vao1 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
New logo wanted for Goldelry.com

We are a startup jewelry ecommerce (www.goldelry.com). Our key products going to be engagement and wedding rings plus ability to design a ring with diamond. We will sell jewelry all over the world.
Logo types to explore
We need logo “linked” to our internet domain (Goldelry.com). The logo should be strong, memorable, about classical with some modern idea, not too “look expensive”, but trusty. We also would like to have hallmark (probably “G” or “Go”). Logo should not be too difficult to print/cut on wood/paper bag. Fonts should be typical MS Office/Mac.
$299 Bronze package
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

And then… they selected a winner!
I had a great time working with him: he is very responsive and has amazing creative ideas which I would have not thought of. He is also very flexible when I happened to change my mind often. I would very much recommend him for logo design!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
