Orange County Voiceovers is a new company catering to the voiceover needs of businesses in Orange County, California. The services we provide include Casting, Recording and Coaching Voice Talent for TV, Radio and Industrial Uses.
Logo types to explore
A common misconception is that voiceovers mean only cartoons and funny voices. While cartoons and funny voices are forms of voiceovers, cartoons are primarily voiced through the studios, agents and casting directors. We cut out all of those middle men and while we may voice an animated video, we wouldn't provide a voice for The Simpsons. Example of a voiceover we've done: http://youtu.be/ozgIE5IGJJ8 The text that should be emphasized in our logo is "Orange County" followed by "Voiceovers". We've received quite a few submissions with emphasis on "Orange" only. When someone sees our logo, they should immediately see the words "Orange County" and recognize that we're an Orange County company, followed right away by "Voiceovers". This needs to be done bearing in mind that our entire business name is "Orange County Voiceovers". So either "Orange County Voiceovers" would appear all on one line (but this appear cluttered) or "Orange County" would be on one line and "Voiceovers" on another but again, it should be clear that our business name is Orange County Voiceovers And the colors we love the most so far are 1. Black background 2. A sleek orange for "Orange County" 3. White and/or orange and white for the words "Voiceovers" (see designs #3 and #6 for examples of colors) What image(s) our logo might contain (though we are open to different ideas): A skyline view of Orange County businesses/buildings, subtle ocean in front of those buildings and maybe/maybe not a palm tree or two on the side of the buildings What image(s) our logo won't contain: - An enormous graphic of an orange, orange tree or a wave/beach. (Most people in Orange County have no idea if or when orange trees were a part of this county.) - The Hollywood sign. Though we may provide voiceovers for television and radio on occasion, are target market is businesses in Orange County - Crooked or hard to read letters Possibly helpful links: 1. Irvine Chamber of Commerce: http://www.irvinechamber.com/ Irvine is the poster child of Orange County 2. OCGov.com 3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_County,_California Possible slogan: "Providing voices for Orange County" Likely clients we'll work with in Orange County: Hyundai Taco Bell Deloitte etc. Note that we've finalized the text for the logo as follows: Line 1: "Orange County" (in a sleek orange text) Line 2: "Voiceovers" (in a sleek white text) Line 3: "Providing voices for Orange County" (in a nice, legible, plain white text) Line 4: Space Line 5: "www.OrangeCountyVoiceovers.com" (in a nice, legible, plain white text) Line 6: "Info@OrangeCountyVoiceovers.com" (in a nice, legible plain white text) Line 7: "(949) 415-OCVO" (in a nice, legible plain white text) Thank you so much to all of you that have submitted and thank you in advance for those that intend to!
