It was difficult to select a winner with many great submissions, but BocahMenyot delivered a creative and clean design that was hard to pass on. He was responsive and patient with us working through the final touches. Great design and clever idea. Thank you very much.
He understood the look and feel we wanted... and did a great job.
Very hard working, lots of design alterations and very helpful.
Vara_69 was a great designer from start to finish. Very prompt, professional and exceeded my needs.
Great Job! Worked very well with me and help coordinate design and imaging.
- Gina8 :)
Gina was engaged and in tune with my goals from the beginning of this brief. I only wish the platform could synch better with our registered emails, I seemed to have missed (by a few days) a few time sensitive emails, all in all, a great experience though with 99d as well!

Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
This is optional, but would like to see a couple versions with "Color outside the lines" We are thinking of using this as our tag, but not totally committed to it...
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are an urban, cross-cultural, cross-generational, cross-socioeconomic fellowship of Christians committed to loving and serving our community. We are known for our warmth and love. We were originally planted by a church called Bayside of Granite Bay (in another part of Sacramento), so our name has been Bayside of South Sacramento (B.O.S.S.). We are still closed family friends with Bayside, but
we are all grown up now and need an identity of our own that still pays homage to our past. Everyone calls us BOSS CHURCH anyway, and the word BOSS suits us because we are urban and very different from the typical church -- we definitely color outside the lines but we're not so cool that we don't love people, or so hip that we are not humble and aware of our own frailties.Sacramento is one of the most diverse cities in America, and we are firmly committed, in this time of national division and racial tension to uniting our community through faith... that's the idea we want to communicate with our logo and corporate identity.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Community & Non-Profit
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
our legacy colors are blues, but we really like the idea of using skin tones with some tertiary accent colors (one being blue would be good, but we trust good designers to help us pick). We need to be careful not to look too much like Hugo Boss, the clothing line.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Our church is 11 years old. Our founding pastor died suddenly of a heart attack 3 1/2 years ago. We have a wonderful, young, energetic new pastor, and we are at a point of new beginning, so we need a fresh, new look that will carry us through our next stage, Check out current site at http://www.bossonline.org - not the greatest, and definitely our 'old look' but a complete redesign is next once we have a logo that screams "us". Our logo has to be recognizable and legible from icon to billboard size, in color, Black and white, and reversed.
