Mashup Creator got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Mashup Event and Prop Rental needs a cool logo!
Check out Mashup Creator's Logo design contest…
Mashup provides unique items for rent for special occassions, primarily weddings and parties. We offer antique furniture, rustic items (mason jars, rusty metal items, etc), as well as glamorous items such as crystal beaded silver candelabras. The name Mashup was selected to represent that we offer multiple genres of items and a client can take some of each to create her own unique event decor.
Logo types to explore
I do not want to display only one genre of items within my logo, I want to express that we have mutliple genres. This is why I mocked up the sample logos using multiple types of font. Also, our primary event is weddings, but, I do not wish to limit the style of my logo to wedding events. In my mockups, I use a chair as the H. I REALLY like this and would like to do something similiar to one of the other letters. Maybe a fancy chair then some rustic item as part of another letter. I am flexible with color, but, prefer to use mostly a single color with slight highlights of a 2nd or 3d color.
