Aldo Cortesi got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Netograph: test your creativity and help us find a striking logo for an abstract data company
Check out Aldo Cortesi's Logo design contest…
Netograph is a measurement tool that records what websites do at a very detailed, technical level. We provide search into a huge dataset, visualisations of the data, and capture on demand. Our users are highly technical, and are often related to the security/privacy industry.
Other color requirements
We would prefer a logo that works on both dark backgrounds (e.g. #303030), or light (pure white). This is not a strict requirement.
The brief here is to design a new logo for Netograph. Please take a look at the existing (terribad) logo here: https://netograph.io The logo here represents a graph of data related to a specific website. This is a schematic of a visualisation we use to represent an individual data capture. You can find live streams of these visualisations here: https://netograph.io/datasets Look especially carefully at the Social dataset, which is our flagship. Please note that these are live, uncensored streams from social media, and can be highly NSFW. Please be careful you don't end up with an inappropriate screenshot on your monitor in a cafe or something. We would like a logo that captures the spirit of these visulalizations in logo form. A central node with radiating lines and satellite nodes is a a good place to start, but we're open to suggestions. We would prefer a logo that can work on BOTH a dark background (e.g. #303030) and a light background (pure white). This logo will be used both on our website, in our technical documentation, and in our data product (data-dense reporting and visualisations).
