ryanG5 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Oli Woodworks needs modern logo branding for consumer products
Check out ryanG5's Logo design contest…
We build custom cabinets, and furniture. We offer quality wood products for the consumer markets.
I would like to emphasize the "Oli" part of my business name. We are trying to brand ourself as "Oli" and have the wood working part be understood. We plan to branch out further into consumer goods as well as full home construction, and we would like to be able to use this as our branding across multiple industries. Right now we are using a square logo with a modern font "oli" and adding the "woodworks" part to the side. Our goal with this function of our current design was so that we could keep the square "oli" part the same and change the word "woodworks" to fit whichever industry we branch into. (ex. Oli Woodworks could be changed to Oli Construction). We would like to keep the same functionality with the new/updated logo. Ive included samples of what we are working with as of now. We would like to keep the "clean" look it already has. Maybe we can also incorporate an Elephant into the branding. The elephant idea was conceived to create a brand figurine that could become synonymous with our logo's font styling. This way we could use both the figurine or font styling to identify ourselves between customers or suppliers. We would also like to stick with the "green" color swatch for colors in the logo. We like old fashioned logos. Modern logos. Clean. Simple and straight forward. We plan to use this to further brand our product line. And create an identity comparable to home-furnishing brands you see at the big box stores. We look forward to working with you designers. Good luck! ....Keep in mind I would like this logo to be printable in full color as well as black&white/single color prints. Certain detail in some designs may not transfer very well in single color format. Thank you!
