The Prance Version KL-3 is the last version our previous logo.
The girl is too specific, too young, too cute, too much hair.
We need to simplify and become non-specific.
Our "Prance girl" needs to appeal to ALL WOMEN ages 13-50.
Thus, not specifically one ethnicity/age/body-type.
See Michael Jordan logo.
We want a silhouette like this, non-specific, although the curves of the woman would be apparent, her hips, waist, breasts, hair flowing off to the side. She is NOT too look too sexy however. Too curvy is not desired. Although she should be attractive and fit.
She can be represented as a white silhouette right where the current "girl" is in Prance Version KL-3, or you can be creative and position her as you will.
Her underwear will be apparent as a black underwear shape, a shape like that shown in Prance Version KL-3. This underwear will serve as the iconic object that is shown in white in iTunesDance. However, the Prance logo will be a white silhouette with a black pair of underwear (not a white iPod).
Her movement is not dunking a basketball like the Michael Jordan logo, but is more like a combination of a celebration, and a dance. Her arms are outstretched and her legs are "prancing/dancing" like in "WomanDancingonSand." Think energy, freedom, liberation.
The reddish color of the circle of Prance Version KL-3 good but we are open to exploration.
We also want to keep the circle and the word and period of "Prance." within the circle. Tagline of "No Leaks, No Stains, Period." also needs to be there.
Feel free to explore positioning of all items as well as font.
Again, we must keep the "Prance." that includes a period "." at the end.
We must also keep the tagline "No leaks, No stains, Period."
The colors should remain 3-color combo of vibrant orange/red, white and black.
PS - we'd like to guarantee this contest, but don't have enough entries yet. Please enter so we can award a winner!
Updated note as of 10/25/11:
If any designers would like to take a shot at this and try something totally different, we are open to that as well, but keep in mind that we must have the words Prance. (with the punctuation of the period that comes afterward as shown there) as well as the tagline of No Leaks, No Stains, Period. easily readable and prominent.
