My philosophy on design is that your home should be functional, personal and beautiful. It should reflect who you are and your lifestyle. It should work for you in the everyday, rejuvenate and inspire you in your journey through life. Ultimately, it should make you happy.
As a designer and stylist I am professional, approachable, able to put people at ease and encourage clients to look at their space in a new, fresh way and I am not afraid of colour or pattern although most of my spaces have a certain calmness to them.
My own personal style leans to the clean and contemporary with a healthy dollop of mid-century bias. I love light, fresh and edgy spaces - perhaps with a touch of 70's funkiness and a certain eclecticism. My preferred client will share similar preferences.
At a more personal level I am passionate about what I do. I love to laugh, and enjoy witty banter with anyone who is willing to engage!
The challenge is to create a logo that will reflect all of this.
I would like to have the option of using the tag line "functional, personal, beautiful" with the logo, although it is important that the logo can stand alone without the tag line.
The scoop on the business name: my favourite number has always been 24, so I feel a real connection to it. As a happy coincidence there are 24 hours in a day, and I feel a well designed space will work for you every hour of every day.
Although the business name is 'twentyfour design' I am open to the logo incorporating the digits '24'.
I like logo's with the business name as the logo (www.loriandrewsinteriors.com, http://www.urbanfront.co.uk) however I am open to other ideas, and will provide feedback accordingly.
