Animal & Pet
I handcraft custom pet products (namely pet ID tags, collars, and leashes) and sell them on etsy, but will be expanding to a website in the future. I also sell my products in small pet boutiques and grooming shops. Target audience is pet owners, age 21-35, men and women, that are interested in unique, stylish, and functional accessories for their dogs. I originally started my business in 2011 under the name of "Little Blue Fox Designs," but as it has grown, I decided I needed a change that better reflects the products I make and sell. The official name change will be taking place this year.
Logo types to explore
I'd like the design to include a shikoku dog (photos below). The markings on the face are distinct and set them apart from similar breeds. Nothing too cartoony, busy, or flashy. I have an image of a somewhat clean retro style design in mind. I'd love to see some creative ideas that work with the name, but it can be something as simple as the dog's face too. I'd like to stress the need for versatility with the final design. It may be used in everything from hangtags to t-shirts, watermarks to website design. Would love a design that can be altered for different mediums as needed, while still maintaining the same look. Would prefer to be able to easily change the colors for different backgrounds without losing the recognition. I love the "badge" logo look that a lot of retro designs have, and I have included some examples of those for reference. Again, ideally I'd like a design with both the "badge" look and the simplified version(s). Feel free to play around with different shapes for this.
