Bejoberkah provided me with a beautiful logo. It's simple but elegant and the color choices are inspired!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This logo is for a nonprofit consulting firm, led by a solo practitioner (me), which hopefully embodies the best values of my hometown, Oakland, CA: a commitment to inclusion, pluralism, social justice, community, spirituality, and a sense of groundedness flowing out of vibrant communities of color. I provide consulting and educational services to nonprofit organizations, i.e., philanthropic organizations, advocacy groups, and religious organizations working on progressive issues.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Community & Non-Profit
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Just know that my favorite personal color palette includes rich fall colors. No bright perky rainbow stuff.

love the simplicity of this - nature meets abstraction
I just like the creativity expressed here. Not necessarily the colors
I love the way a living creature is made a part of this logo
I really want to stay away from any generic/corporate type designs and somehow want to reflect a sensibility rooted in communities of color if possible. I chose the name Oaktown as a way of staying grounded in neighborhood and community rather than the alienation sometimes associated with big cities.
