How brentkM started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Sockeye Steel Detailing
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I use computer software to produce detailed drawings for steel fabricators and steel erectors. My target audience are steel fabricators and engineering firms.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'm open to other colors but red and green are the colors of the Sockeye. I only want to use 1 or 2 colors.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I like that the logo pops and stands out
i like how the sheep flows into the words, its interesting to look at
a goofy but i kind of like it. very unique
haha, it makes me laugh. i like that
its maybe a little too generic but it caught my eye never the less
Sockeye is a type of fish (google it). I mainly chose the name Sockeye b/c it sounds cool, I'm not overly infatuated by the look of the fish although I thought it'd be neat to incorporate the fish into the logo design--its unique looking that is for sure. I want my logo to standout. I want it to be memorable and eye-catching. Most logos for other steel detailing companies are very generic and boring. I do not want a generic-looking, blocky, geometric design. I want to stand out! I want to only use 1 or 2 colors. I want to appeal to millennials.
