What do you imagine when you think Beta Factory?

Logo types to explore
By "beta" we mean "beta software" so the greek letter may not be the best representation, but some current designs use it with some success. However, feel free to play around with it. Our "factory" metaphor means efficiency and processes, not a physical place. So perhaps the insides of a factory (e.g. assembly lines and machines) is more interesting than the outside. Some other metaphors we like are: building blocks, frameworks, Legos, networks, mentorship, seed investing, etc. The attached "Temp Logo" file shows a very temporary logo that we are looking to improve upon and replace. (We do not have the rights to use the logo yet, but will purchase rights if we opt to use it.) However, we wanted to share it as a reference for what we like. Try to keep colors solid (i.e. no gradients, etc.) because quality when printing is a major issue. Also, think how the logo would look with only one color if we need to print in black or with a single color print setup. You may use multiple colors, but understand that it will often be printed in black-and-white. The attached Color Palette is the design used in the company presentation. I'd prefer if you follow these colors, with a preference for the dark blue shade. The Frutiger font is the one used in the presentation, but not required for the logo if you prefer another. Our target audience is both investors (who will put in serious money) as well as potential entrepreneurs who would like to partner with us.
