johnshaff got their new logo & hosted website by running a design contest:
How to tame a cat... Step 1: cardboard box.

Sells cardboard boxes designed for cats.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Let designers make suggestions:
Need color and B&W version of logo. The logo will need to be printable on a cardboard box, meaning their cannot be too much "fine detail" to it. As you can see from the design examples I choose, they could all be easily printed on a cardboard box. They are also all, compact, clean, central, with a touch of modernity. The attached sample is exactly the kind of emotion I want to invoke in my customer. It shows a cat "being snuggled by" or "snuggling with" a cardboard box. I realize that "snuggle" and "modernity" don't really go together, so if you have to favor one, go with the "snuggle" (also a good life tip ; ). The only problem is that "the box" is not pronounced enough in the attached picture... so perhaps flaps would be more indicative of a box. My product is in the shape of shoe box. I am partial to having the product in the logo, but definately willing to entertain other options.
I want it to be super simple. I want the customer to be able to begin the buying process on the very first page. I want it to be clean, bright, and as uncluttered as possible. The main page is totally designed to initiate purchase by visually overcoming any questions for those who have them, and for those that don't have questions I want them to know that there won't be a labyrinth of pages and clicks separating them from purchase.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo & hosted website.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
