cliffordscarber got their new app design by running a design contest:
!!!!Transformation Challenge App!!!!!
Check out cliffordscarber's App design contest…
App that can give people the accountability, motivation, community, tools/steps and enjoyment to finish all of their goals and challenges!
I like the layout of instagram and how user friendly it is. I want the major color scheme to be black, orange, yellow and white. I created the website www.mykokoro100.com and I create the Kokoro 100 Challenge. look at that for inspiration. This is originally where the idea for the DoMore app came from.
5 screens. Home, Discover, Challenge, Encourage and Profile. Home: The Home screen is meant to be a place where there is a motivational quote of the day, any current challenges you are enrolled in and any of your friends challenges you want to follow to hold them accountable. Each Challenge on your home page will show the current progress of the challenge and you can then click on it to record your daily habits/tasks or see more info on that challenge, like how many participants are in it. how many people are following that challenge and the rules and regulations for that challenge. Discover: The Discover screen will show you recommended profiles and challenges based on who you follow and what challenges you are doing or following. There will also be a search bar at the top where you can look up specific challenges, profiles or a category of a challenge you are looking for. Challenge: The Challenge screen is meant to have all the details of a specific challenge once you have clicked on it. The count down calendar, followers, participants, rules/daily habits, start date, end date and purpose of the challenge. Encourage: The Encourage screen is a chat/message screen. Here you will be able to message individual users or message the challenge group you are in. You can also video chat with people here or do live streams to your specific group/challenge(if you are the group creator). Profile: The Profile screen is where it will show your picture, number of followers, how many people you are following, favorite quote, favorite book, favorite podcast, short Bio, links to your social accounts(Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook) and below this will show all the challenges you are currently in with the ones you have completed below those. The screens Home, Discover, Profile & Encourage will all be at the bottom of the screen that you can easily click to just like on Instagram. The Challenge screen won't pop up until you click on a specific challenge and want to know more.
What to avoid
Even though I like the user interface for Instagram, use it more for inspiration and try not to copy everything about it. Thanks :) I created the website www.mykokoro100.com and I create the Kokoro 100 Challenge. look at that for inspiration. This is originally where the idea for the DoMore app came from. :)
