After an outstanding initial project with Maria, we commissioned her for a larger project consisting of 8 illustrations. I could not possibly be more impressed or more happy with the process! The artwork itself is visually stunning, and Maria consistently had excellent creative ideas to effectively convey our key concepts. She was also super responsive and positive to requests for small updates as we worked towards finalizing each design. If you have the chance to work with Maria, you absolutely should!
Incredible artist. I will hire him again.

Very professional. Great to work with!
Pixeleiderdown is my go-to artist for any design requiring careful accuracy and close attention to detail, or if I just need something done right and done well. Always a pleasure to work with!

Nonprofit that places teachers in high need areas. We seek to strengthen an inclusive, thriving, diverse community of corps members, alumni and staff who listen to and learn from each other and know we are in it together. Help our teachers have path-changing impact with children, even in their first two years, and support alums in and out of the classroom to continuously develop their leadership contributions. Catalyze leadership everywhere it’s needed, starting with recruiting the next generation of extraordinary people.

What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We want a map-based graphic for the wall of our entrance area (front desk and reception seating). The space is 73 5/8" width, 102" height. We could also wrap the image around the sides of the wall, which are 14" deep on the left and 5 1/2 deep on the right. The map should show the geographic area of Chicago and suburbs and Gary, Indiana. The map should have a traditional map feel (not colored by neighborhoods). Inclusion of the public transportation lines would also be great.
Our organization prefers not to use clip art type images, or images traditionally associated with teaching (pencils, blackboard, apples, etc). It is important the design is inclusive of both Chicago and Northwest Indiana (i.e. no Chicago skyline)
