We have members – city planners, metro planners, strategists, planning officials, top academics and researchers – in 80 countries. For 48 years, we have held an annual World Planning Congress. The Congress is increasingly important, cutting-edge, and truly global.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We urgently need a logo/brand/image for the 49th Congress to be held in Brisbane, Australia, on 1-4 October 2013. The title of the Congress is “Frontiers of Planning: Evolving and declining models of planning practice”. The key words in the message are "Frontiers of Planning" (which is the essential logo), "Practice" (which is the point of difference), "Brisbane" (the host city) and of course the dates of the Congress.
Our annual World Planning Congress is about very significant global challenges. Giving us a graphic style to promote the Congress and ultimately to define the look and feel of the event is all about fun, imagination and expression. We welcome your help in making next year's Congress in Brisbane, Australia, a great event.
