TASER (www.taser.com) makes technology solutions for law enforcement that protect life and protect truth. TASER is most known for the stun devices that 95% of cops carry today to incapacitate the bad guys. TASER is also the world leader in officer worn cameras with more than 60,000 in the field today.
What's your vision?
TASER, best known for the TASER weapon that police carry, is launching a campaign for our video and digital evidence management solution. TASER is the world leader in officer worn video, with more than 60,000 cameras in the field today. The newest video system is called AXON Flex which is a small officer worn video camera that mounts in multiple ways to the officers body/head. The data collected from the AXON can be uploaded, managed, retrieved, and shared easily in a secure cloud based storage system called evidence.com. One of the biggest challenges law enforcement officers face today is they are constantly being accused of things, and in most cases, falsely accused. Data shows that having video present can reduce false complaints be 90%. In addition, having video present can reduce use of force by 60%. All of this adds up to mean that having a camera for a cop is a really good thing… it saves agencies time, money and resources. Some cops view the camera as “big brother”, the chief or internal affairs wanting to keep an eye on their activity… but that’s not the intention of most decision makers in law enforcement. And in most cases, once the officer tries the system they feel naked without it. Their honor is at stake everyday. They constantly have to play the “he said she said” game. When video is present… the he said she said goes away. As for the campaign, Law enforcement officers see and deal with the “unbelievable” on a daily basis. Having video makes it real, makes it believable. We asked ourselves here at TASER, what are some things that are “unbelievable” that we can use to base this campaign around? The Tooth fairy. Loch Ness Monster. Aliens. Sasquatch. Long story short, we decided on sasquatch. -WHAT WE NEED- 1 ad, 8.5x11. - The ads need to incorporate sasquatch and attached are poor mock ups i did with power point. Please use your own creativity/imagination for imagery, etc... the power point is just to give you an idea of where we want to go. Again, capturing video and having digital evidence management (AXON & Evidence.com) helps make the unbelievable… believable. - We want your ideas, your design, your messaging.
