We need you to help create cartoon art for a simple, side-jumping, candy-themed iOS game.
What's your vision?
We need you to help create cartoon art for a simple iOS game. We only need a short, 4-frame animation for the player, the rest of the objects don’t need any animations. Just single-frame textures for the player and power up. We also need a 2-layer background for parallax scrolling in game. VERY IMPORTANT: The art needs to be created in a special way for our game engine to process it. Our engine automatically detects the art by removing the background, similar to the Photoshop fill command with “Contiguous” selected, starting at the corners. In order to correctly detect the image, we require the following: * We need all the art to be on a white background, with a thick, dark border. * We need all the art pieces to be closed shapes. * In order for the background to be removed correctly, our background-removal algorithm needs to be able to reach it. Therefore don’t leave any empty spaces inside the object. Note - This also applies to the second layer of the background, since we’ll need it’s background to be transparent as well. * Our algorithm coverts the images to 16 bit and then palettizes them. Therefore please refrain from using gradients, especially in the background. Flat colors work best. We would like all the art in vector graphics, or in the following resolutions: Player - 512x512px Platforms and Powerups - 1024x1024px Background Layers1 and 2 - 2048x1536px; The game is a horizontal, iOS, side-jumping game involving a chocolate bunny and a candy theme. A lot of the objects we need are the same size and shape, just colored differently. ANIMATIONS: Only the player needs an animation. If you want to add some sort of spinning or shine animation to the powerups that would be nice as well but not required. The player needs one animation composed of 4 frames. You can build the animation by repeating the 4 frames in any order that you want. The animation needs to be a jumping animation for when the player interacts with the platforms. The rest of the time he should stay in the last frame of the animation, until he interacts again with the next platform. GAME OBJECTS: Player: Chocolate bunny (facing to the side). An example jumping animation is included. Platforms: Candy bars - 4 different, colorfully wrapped, generic with no brand. Same size and shape with different wrappers. Like MARS, Sneakers, etc... but with a generic word like “Candy” or “Chocolate” or no brand at all. Powerups: Round candy - 5 different colors. Sort of like gumballs or M&Ms (without the text). All 5 should be the same shape, but colored differently with bright colors. Maybe even with sprinkles. For examples: http://images.musthavemenus.com/images/13/1175205647959_245/img_large_watermarked.jpg or http://www.clker.com/cliparts/9/c/2/c/11949863201080446347candy_02.svg.med.png Background (2-layer parallax scrolling, horizontal 2048 pixels wide * 1536 pixels high) Both layers should be candy-themed mountains and rolling hills with cotton candy clouds, candy houses, sour strips, etc... For example: the mountains can be ice cream with chocolate syrup and cherry on top, or chocolate dipped strawberries. Layer 1 - The first layer should have blue sky as its background (behind the hills,mountains, houses, etc...) Layer 2 - The second layer needs to have a white or transparent background, and all the objects in the second layer need to be closed shapes with a dark border around them.
