What's your vision?
Looking for an eBook cover for an original novel, KILLER RATINGS, by Lisa Seidman. Here's the plot: A behind the scenes look at a television series through the eyes of a writers' assistant, suspected in the murder of her despised boss. Susan Kaplan is the assistant to the writers and associate producer on the TV cop drama Babbitt and Brooks. When she discovers the body of her despised boss, Rebecca Saunders, bludgeoned to death by her Women in Television Award, Susan learns she's the prime suspect in Rebecca's murder. Susan must investigate her boss's death outside the police investigation in order to exonerate herself and bring the real killer to justice. Unfortunately for Susan, her investigation not only casts suspicions on the writers and producers of the series, which becomes the #1 rated show after Rebecca's murder, but puts her life in jeopardy when she unwittingly crosses paths with the murderer. Please incorporate the Ignition Books logo (attached) on the bottom left-hand corner (or best placement if you think it looks better elsewhere).
Women in Television Award description: Think of I.M. Pei's pyramid in the Louvre, on top of a ebony square base. The pyramid shaped design can be crystal or white marble, with the words Women in Television etched in faux gold on it. Rebecca Saunders, Babbitt and Brooks are etched in the ebony base, also in faux-gold. Perhaps the award can be dripping blood as it lies next to Rebecca's dead body. And perhaps TV cameras can be in the background to let readers know this murder has something to do with a TV series. This is not a "hardboiled" novel in any way. Nor is it a graphic, serial-killer thriller. For inspiration, look at bestselling mysteries with women sleuths, like those from Janet Evanovich,
