MagnusJ got their new other graphic design by running a design contest:
Guess Who Game needs a new design

Games & Recreational
Guess Who is a casual web based social networking game. It presents a scrambled photo, and the user then guesses on to whom this photo belongs to. It allows the user to switch to an easier level (less scrambled) or skip to another photo. The user is rewarded with points, more points for guessing correct on a harder level. The current prototype application consists of 4 tabs. A main tab/page and the others are used to look at meta data and change settings. The main activity would be in the first "guessing" tab. It's not necessary that these tabs are presented in a straight line. At least one tab presents information in a table view.
What's your vision?
I want a design that isn't as stiff, boring and business like as the current design is. It should be pleasing to the eye, more streamlined "game-like". I can perhaps envision graphical design elements such as flowers and/or softer rounder shapes. More fun and casual than what I currently have. Technically, the design should be simple to convert to HTML/CSS and fit in an iFrame of 760pixels width. The original artwork (PhotoShop/Illustrator/etc) should be available for further adjustments if needed) UPDATE: I don't want the screenshots themselves redesigned. I want a design to be used in a web page. (The screenshots are there for the purpose of giving an idea how the prototype looks like, what the concepts and purpose of this app is). The restrictions of this web page is that it should be max 760 px wide. The prominent thing is the photo that the user should act upon. At the moment it is 456x300px (but I can adjust that if needed). UPDATE: Some more thoughts. I want users of this social game to experience a more causal and joyful visual look than he current prototype in the attached screenshots. I'll try to describe in some words (but please don't let these words limit your artistic freedom); Trees/flowers/sun/clouds/colors/soft/rounded corners/joy/enlightenment/pleasant/fun/green/yellow etc... Right now, the prototype is the opposite; business like/boring/square Although the prototype has 4 tabs, the most important tab would be the one seen in the first file(GuessWhoScreenshot.PNG), where the user sees the photo and makes his/her guess. The other tabs is (just) meta data content. And again, the tab selection doesn't have to be designed like in the prototype (on a straight line), they can be in a half circle, arc, etc. whatever suits the overall design. UPDATE: Removed the requirement for HTML/CSS since it violates 99Designs rules. UPDATE: It's important that visual elements are in separated layers so that I can make adjustments/replacements.
The target demographics are mainly females and people who like to being updated on what their friends are up to. It's most likely a mixture of young people (late teens) up to seniors. The current logo can be replaced if a better suited one is available.
