Yfoundations is a peak body that seeks to end youth homelessness and aims to represent the needs of young people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness.
We provide support to youth workers and the sector through training, policy and structural advocacy, research and sector development and raising community awareness. Our target audience are young homeless people looking for accommodation, case workers, specialist homelessness services (crisis, medium and long-term accommodation providers), young activists (volunteers, interns) and people looking for information about youth homelessness (researchers, journalists, politics)
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Yfoundations has identified five foundations as integral to the process of ending youth homelessness: health & wellness, connections, home & place, education & employment, safety & stability. For each of the foundations, we would like to have a poster which would describe and explain in a simple, engaging and fun way what's behind those issues. We would like the posters to contain visuals and text/keywords (I've attached a document with a short text and keywords for each foundations). Our targeted audience for the foundations are young homeless people and specialist homelessness services. Moreover, our logo, which is a house, is already made of 5 different coloured squares. Those squares symbolise the 5 foundations but we have not assigned a colour to a foundation yet (feel free to do so).
Please find attached our logo, a short summary of each foundations and keywords, and an exhaustive description of each foundations (policy, research..), . The foundations are also accessible online: https://yfoundations.org.au/index.p…Itemid=297
