How Councilvehicle started their other design journey
Who are you known as?
Moorabool Shire Council
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Community & Non-Profit
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a local government organisation that own, manage and maintain community assets on behalf of our community. This includes a fleet of vehicles of different sizes and shapes that are used in the field to help maintian and build a range of infrastructure, particually roads, bridges, recriational reserves and community facilites.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Our plant and equipment (trucks and vehicles) have very small signage and branding making it difficult to identify our trucks in the field.
I want to improve the visabitliy of the vehicle brnading so they are more readily identifyable, particually when to local traveling on the roads.
We already have a Corporate logo and colours, this design breif is about incorporating the exisitng brand elements more effectively on our fleet of vehicles.
The truck is 1.9 meters accross the front
The door panels are 1m accross but the door and window are sloped.
door is appox 700mm wide b/w the door handle and side mirror stem. white door panel area tapers from 800mm to 500m high.
the rectangular tray panels on side and rear are 640mm each.
The final design will need to be able to be applied as vinal decals.
