Entertainment & The Arts
This flyer is used to promote the Israeli Jazz and World Music Festival 2016. The dates (May 26th - June 2nd) must be included on the flyer as well as "Chicago" so that our audience knows that the festival will be taking place in Chicago this year. Our target audience consist of musicians, artists, Israelis, Americans, and other ethnic groups throughout the city of Chicago.
What's your vision?
We would like a flyer designed to promote the Israeli Jazz and World Music Festival of 2016. The dates for the festival must be included (May 26th - June 2nd) as well as "Chicago" so that it is obvious where the festival is taking place. I would love a design that features a musician or more on the flier while highlighting the beauty of the city of Chicago on it. I envision a musician playing (the famous Sears Tower of Chicago) like a clarinet or a soprano saxophone in a jazz setting. The skyline of Chicago should be represented in the background or the bottom of the flyer with the inclusion of the Chicago Bean in Millennium Park. If it is possible to include a drummer and a drumset in the background as well as some reference to Israel or the Hebrew language that would be great. Colorful is preferred.
I have attached previous choices from the past couple of years that we did not choose to use as our flier. The Green and Red flier uses a drummer in the background which I would like to be included in this years flier in addition to a musician playing the Sears Tower like a Clarinet held parallel to the ground to emphasize jazz music and its feeling. The dark blue poster includes the Chicago Skyline which we would like to be included in this flier.
