Stereo Hideout is starting an exciting new orchestral series at the historic Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY. The title of the series is STEREO HIDEOUT: BROOKLYN.
The first performance will be BRAHMS V. RADIOHEAD on May 19th, 2018. BRAHMS V. RADIOHEAD is a symphonic mashup of the Brahms 1st Symphony and Radiohead's OK Computer. The performance features a full symphony orchestra and three vocalists.
We are seeking an advertising poster that is contemporary, very edgy, minimal, industrial, stylish, and more than anything- Brooklyn.
Though this is a symphonic orchestra concert, we want the poster to feel like it is for a edgy art opening in Berlin or a DJ warehouse party. We envision very strong and minimalist typeface, clean and edgy use of lines and shapes, and imagery reminiscent Brahms and Radiohead that is distorted, effected or stuttered in a contemporary way. Those elements should work together to create a poster that is engaging and stylish.
VERY IMPORTANT- this is the for advertising admat poster- NOT for the collectible art poster. So it is very important that the details of the concert (date, time, venue) come across.
The details for the poster:
STEREO HIDEOUT: BROOKLYN [big font]
BRAHMS V. RADIOHEAD [biggest font]
A symphonic mash-up of the Brahms 1st Symphony and Radiohead's OK Computer
May 19, 2018
Then at the bottom of the poster should be the Kings logo (attached image)
Notes on the above:
STEREO HIDEOUT: BROOKLYN is the name of the concert series and should be pretty prominent, but the biggest font should obviously be BRAHMS V. RADIOHEAD.
We are attaching the Kings Logo as well as style references for typography, layout, visual effects, etc.
