What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I am looking for a poster which advertises a children's theatre production called 'The Last Boy on Earth'. The performance is about a boy who lives alone on planet Earth. One of the main themes of the show is sustainable living. The story is a comedy, so the style of the poster needs to reflect that - nothing too dark. The boy has made his own home from the junk and rubbish of other humans. He reuses or recycles everything. The home is a bit like a hermitage, deep in the jungle, with lots of rubbish and junk as part of the landscape. In the story, he speaks to a girl who is living on the moon. I would like the poster to show the boy, in/near his jungle home, looking up to the moon. The font for the title should be whimsical (perhaps made of cardboard or be child-like). The poster does not have to be realistic, and can include drawings and illustrations, as well as textures. It should have a 'recycled' feel to it - as though it has been made out of a collection of other things or junk. I have attached some images for inspiration, but not to be included in the poster.
