What's your vision?
We are looking to have a brochure template designed for our various Proposals for RFPs and RFQs. The proposals have 6 distinct types of pages that need to be designed. Cover page – Will be used in in-design and needs to include: - Proposal for Structural Engineering Services - Proposal Name - Date - Prepared for: XXXXX - Logo - Tagline – Creative Thinkers, Cleverly Disguised as Engineers - Address, phone and website - Option for photo. Table of Contents – Will be part of a word document, merged with the other pages before printing. Note that it is difficult to have images floating in the centre of the page in word, and recommend side, header or footer images. Firm Profile Pages – These are text heavy pages describing the firm’s background, services and specialties. They will be part of a word document, merged with the other pages before printing. These pages need the most flexibility for body copy, bullet points or lists. They should include: - Header, ie: Firm Profile or Scope of Services - Between 250-500 of copy - Possible subheads, bullet points and/or list of prices. - Photos – would like to see photos used through out the proposal and should be able to switch up photos on different pages of the proposal. Project Showcase – Horizontal – These pages will be used in in-design and merged with other pages before printing (a lot more flexibility for photo placement). This includes photos of the project, which are more horizontal in nature (ie: Richmond Olympic Oval). Page includes: - Project Name - Building Type, area, budget, location, date completed in bullets - 200-300 word describing the project. - Horizontal photos of project Project Showcase – Vertical – These pages will be used in in-design and merged with other pages before printing. This page includes photos of a high rise type project, where the photos are vertical in nature. Page includes: - Project Name - Building Type, area, budget, location, date completed in bullets - 200-300 word describing the project. - vertical photos of project The Design Team – These pages include the bios of our top staff to be included in the proposal. Will be done in word format. They need to include: - Name, degrees and position - Two paragraphs describing their experience – 100-150 words - Role on project subhead with 30-40 words (1-2 sentences) - Most Memorable Project subhead with up to 50 word quote - Design/Client Philosophy subhead with 30-40 words - Fun Fact subhead with 20-30 words. - Table including; year of experience, education, notable projects (bullet list) and membership (bullet list) - Head shot of staff member (optional) All pages in the proposal must include the Proposal Name and a page number. As well as some sort of corporate identifier (name, logo, tagline…). We have a large photography library for our projects and like to demonstrate in our proposals that we do innovative structural work, which is also architecturally exciting. Our flickr account under glotmansimpson or website at www.glotmansimpson.com includes photography that can be used for the proposal project. Current logos, corporate graphic standards and a sample head shot attached. Use website glotmansimpson.com or photos in flickr account for building project photography. http://www.flickr.com/photos/glotmansimpson/.
