In designing the Dart Farms logo, I tried to depict through a relevant image the attributes of the organisation’s practices and activity and its unique character, while having as a pivotal point the client’s esthetic preferences expressed in the brief. I used organic, stylized, yet recognizable elements to create a mandala-shaped logo mark and tried to make these elements interact to create a coherent composition, a unitary whole, one organic in itself; to this end, I tried to keep a balance between reducing the lines and shapes to their essence and using some amount of detail, while remaining distinguishable without overburdening the design altogether.
