let lyrics speak is an after school program for youth - it's a place where students can select songs, identify with them and expand on them to express how they are feeling. It's a safe space for open communication in a way that helps keep them comfortable while allowing them to let their feelings out.

The client asked for a music note and lips as a possible idea. I used the negative space within the music notes to create the lips, keeping the design clean, modern and "hip" enough that students could identify with it.
