In July 2022, I was approached by the North Carolina Community Action Association (NCCAA) to design the interior pages of their School Pantry Toolkit book report. The toolkit was developed over the course of two years, with the goal of addressing food insecurity among students and their families in North Carolina communities. The project was a culmination of a community-based effort focused on the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), specifically in the food security domain. While the cover and back of the book report had already been designed by another designer, my role was to create a high-quality, visually appealing interior design that aligns with the NCCAA brand style.
