Scrape, Tape, and Move is the name of a continuing education course for physical therapists. The idea is that the Hawk Grips "scrapers" loosen soft tissue, then kinesiology tape is applied to the surface of the skin to maintain a loose separation in the soft tissue beneath the surface of the skin, then the movement part of physical therapy begins. The process of beginning with the scrape, then applying tape, then doing the rehab movements is a new technique in physical therapy called "layering" and this technique is what is taught in the continuing education course.
