Since writing the brief I'm more relaxed on the colour, I only want to have 1 or 2 colours in the logo but happy to consider green, orange or yellow as well as the original brief of pink or blue.
I want the logo to be fresh and happy but also reflect the nurturing and love the customer has for their pet.

Brand is Maggie and Moo, Pet Supplies, established in 2017 . My two dogs, schnauzers, Maggie and Molly (Moo) are the inspiration of my business, it's an online pet supplies business. This brand is targetted at women, 30-50, love their dogs and happy to spend money on products to ensure the dogs are healthy, happy, well cared for and look good too.
I've attached a photo of the current logo as well as Maggie and an image from my main competitor, Pogi's wipes.
I want a brand that has a bit of 'edge', it needs to be contemporary and have a fresh feel.
