Rinzu did a fantastic job. The feel of the logo was exactly what I wanted. It was simple yet sophisticated and got the message across.

Super Great Designer
We couldn't be happier with our experience with Anna! Her work is better than advertised and will definitely be using her in the future.
Chikal produced our favourite design! However, when we asked for revisions with alternative color themes and font styles, Chikal requested extra money, which was disappointing. The staff at 99Designs were incredibly supported and helped us get the final versions. We are very happy with the overall experience!

SKINSHIP is a project that will get fashion brands to use less animal leather and more leather alternatives. Our goal is to make ethical, sustainable leather alternatives the new big thing, get fashion brands to use them instead of animal leather and get consumers to want them. It will be promoting awareness about the harms of leather industry, working with fashion designers to encourage them to use leather alternatives and with manufacturers who produce sustainable alternative materials. The logo should be geared towards the consumers mostly, but also to the brands and manufacturers we'll be working with. The ultimate goal is to change the perception of leather and get across the point that it is someone else's skin and there are far better alternatives! I chose non-profit as industry below, but it's actually more of a business model and will work on the intersection of animal rights, environment, sustainability, and fashion.

The name "SKINSHIP" is coming from "skin" + "kinship", so the word "KINSHIP" has to be emphasized in the logo, maybe with a different color. I want the logo to be tasteful, on the gentle and minimalistic side but rather colorful; I want it to be graphic enough so that it is easily perceptible and simple enough to be used across platforms. I'm attaching some of my sketches. Ideally, I see it as in the black&white pencil sketch where there are animals sitting on the letters and a naked woman's back in the middle. I want to achieve the effect of "skin on skin", and get the message across that there is no difference between human and animal skin. But I want the animals and the woman's figures to look much more graphic - maybe just the lines - so that they would be easily perceptible. The logo should be a good fit for the company in its roles both as a business, and as an awareness-spreading platform. Please message me if you have any questions or need further clarification of the company's mission/vision.
I haven't chosen the guaranteed payment option simply because I worked with a designer who did a very poor job, disregarded all my comments and I still had to pay her a lot of money. But if I like the design I will be moe than happy to pay for it! Thank you for understanding and I look forward to your designs! :)
