The logo should not be over designed and should be quite simple - see the branding guide for inspiration. The focus is on the name rather than the logo. Our job is to promote other brands and not overpower them with our own. We want to convey to customers that we are not your standard high end/independent fashion marketplace whilst maintaining the luxurious and elegant feel.
We originally wanted a modern, sans-serif font to convey that we're a new revolutionary company (see Net a Porter) but have since leaned towards a more typical serif font like our more similar competitors that operate in the chic/boutique/independent sector (see Trouva or Pho.London). Your challenge if you choose to accept it, is to somehow achieve both.
We have received generally positive reviews for our simple hanger house logo but we believe it may feel a bit tech-y for our audience. We liked the teal colouring but have received some feedback saying it's a little business-y. We are open to new ideas and suggestions.
As the name Yourfittingroom is quite long, we will need some king of smaller logo (possibly the hanger house) or even just YFR, for social media profiles.
We look forward to seeing your designs and good luck!
