ABOUT THE WEB SERIES
Innovation High is a web series (and eventually intended as a TV series) about contemporary education in Australia. The series uses the story of a new local high school (for students aged 12-18) to explore broader trends in education. Through the story of the school we'll be exploring the story of contemporary education more generally. The key theme is innovation. How do schools innovate to meet the needs of students today and prepare them for the world of tomorrow?
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
The school in question is innovating in all sorts of interesting ways - from the modern flexible open-plan design of the school, to the cutting-edge teaching methods, to novel approaches for student-led learning - almost everything about this school is disruptive. This school is deliberately unlike a traditional 'old school'. It will be a culturally diverse school, with students from a wide variety of ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds. The catch cry of the school is Making A Difference. Its brand pillars are Creativity, Diversity, Intelligence and Expectation.
IMPORTANT DESIGN NOTE: The logo is not for the school itself but for the web series.
The primary audiences for the web series is students aged 12-18, university students and faculty studying education, and the parents of children aged 5-15.
