The new IWA website should be be the entry point for all world water professionals working in all aspects of the water cycle (researchers, utilities) but also consultancies and corporates. It should cater both to IWA members (10,000 members and over 500 companies) who need to read latest news about IWA’s hot topics and projects and events, but also - not less important - to all sorts of external audiences (governmental bodies, NGOs, individuals) who are concerned with the wider discourse on the future of water. Who we are With its 30 years of experience, International Water Association (IWA) is a network of approx 10,000 members and over 500 companies worldwide enables water professionals deliver innovative, pragmatic and sustainable solutions to challenging global needs, bringing the science and industry closer together.
Style: clean, minimal, informative, emotive, flat. IWA palette of 'IWA blue' (allowed by Brandbook) must be taken into account (it's uploaded it here below) Also, for your convenience I uploaded some of IWA high-res pictures , but feel free to use any shutterstock/etc you may find appropriate. PAGE 1 - HOMEPAGE The homepage should engage a returning IWA member/person familiar with the organization as well as the 'informed citizen' (outsider to IWA's mission) and make him interested. It should have the following features: - clean-looking menu should be similar to the one of Clinton foundation website (following items:PROGRAMMES, REGIONS, ABOUT IWA, MEMBERSHIP) - there should be two Call-To-Action buttons above (MEMBERS LOGIN and JOIN IWA) - one main ‘breaking news’ box in either one of the two ways:Option 1 Carousel (For example: like Livestrong or MSF.nl) containing one big news (Titles, headline + "Read more' button accorss)Option 2 : 1 box (like Clinton foundation) and two smaller ones next (or three under, whatever suits better) - Underneath it should be followed by a white backround displaying strongly IWA's mission/vision sentence - Followed by a big World map with the possibility to select 8 'filters' (IWA events/ IWA-supported events/6 individual programmes) - Underneath there should be 3 boxes with each of the ‘Check out our programmes' (with arrow to be able to view all 6) - Our events (again maybe one big box + 2 smaller + date/how many days are missing til the event) - At the bootom 6 'infographic like icons' (to display 10,000 members, 200 utilities, 300 corporates (industries) - Big box with a cool visual stating 'Ready to shape our water future?
