MusicIDB
We provide a Venue Website Calendar and a Database of Artists for Event Bookers and Promoters
For artists, we give them access to venues and promoters and allow their music and videos to be played within our integrated venue's websites.
For fans, they can browse the database of events, venues and artists to find new music and experiences.
For an updated main landing page for MusicIDB.com, we have this wireframe draft as a guide for the work:
http://bit.ly/2u19azU
We're looking to make the site feel compelling, fresh, clean, unique and appeal to all segments of our market: musicians, bands, venue managers, promoters, and fans.
The design must have a "wow" factor to make people want to sign up. Either that or something that makes it feel "exclusive" (Any ideas?). Maybe this would be a compelling feature they have to login to use, like Add to My Calendar for example. As you can tell by this wireframe, it will be tab-based navigation.
As shown, the section displaying by default will be the "Artists" which will feature artists information and videos, who are playing near your area soon.
If you have ideas for the other sections, you are invited to provide examples of what a user would see clicking into one of those main sections.
The main work we are asking for, is the details of the "skin", treatments for the page elements, background ideas, color and font ideas for the header and sections. Once we finalize your design, it will be evolved for other parts of the site. So ongoing work is a definite possibility here!
Scullersjazz.com is an example of a website powered by MusicIDB - if you click the "media" button under any event on the homepage, you'll see the interactive video content that is shown in the wireframe.
You are welcome to expand on the provided wireframe, so long as the content planned in the wireframe is included without drastic differences.
Our current landing page at MusicIDB.com has a lot of great content, but never received a final detailed design and needs to be refined a lot. Using content found there is ok.
If you have some ideas for the other tabs, please demonstrate them in separate boxes lower on the design and somehow communicate that we are seeing the content intended be coded within the tabs above.
You can work with our existing color schemes (mostly orange and white with some other punch colors), but we are potentially interested in a fresh take to make the site feel "renewed".
We're hoping to avoid a significant amount of scrolling in the final design, use tabs and sliders to organize content in the main "above the fold" area.
These are our competitors for you to see what we're trying to beat. We are focusing on content, but giving the user control to load only content they are interested in via the provided tabs.
