Games & Recreational
Social strategy game, a war game similar to risk with social aspects like chat/avatars etc. a game that requires both strategic skill and being extroverted and knowing how to socialize. we think our logo is a good representation of this.
Marvel.com: i like how they have a background image and the website on top if it http://urbandesignfirm.com/ the color, texture, feel of this site looks very good www.codeyear.com like the simplicity of this site, not too much clutter and a clear call to action http://webdesignledger.com/inspiration/30-incredible-examples-of-urban-decay-photography - these photos are great with the urban look and feel. we would like you to marry the clean simple look of web 2.0 sites with the urban gritty concretish war-torn rubble of these images. http://sixrevisions.com/web_design/30-beautiful-examples-of-grunge-in-web-design/ here are some more examples of 'grunge design', i particularly like the one called 'syc fuk' how it is simple but still edgy.
We need a homepage design Here is our logo: http://i.imgur.com/EeRPG.png Here are the various elements of the homepage and a rough sketch of where they should be located: http://i.imgur.com/oM8gY.jpg The numbers are: 1. Logo 2. 'WarSocial is a free online social strategy game similar to risk and dicewars. Try it now!' with a signup button, facebook connect button, username and password field 3. (this can also be tried on the left side) Control panel for the game. Needs to have player username, avatar, numeric level (1-100), logout button, settings button, total points and monthly ranking. 4. Re-design of this with all of the same elements: http://i.imgur.com/tU4W1.png - we are looking for some creative ideas for this but the way we are developing the game limits what we can do so there can't be crazy animations or spikes or explosions etc. don't go crazy with the map and piece designs, focus on colors and textures and shading instead. you could swap out the dice with something else if u wanted to, but the elements need to be relatively the same. keep this in mind: the dice are images, the maps are not images so what we can change is limited. 5. Footer: I like the one on mailchimp.com (with about us, connect with us etc). It should have facebook, ipad, iphone, android logos down there so people can play on those platforms.
19 year old guys is probably the majority of the users but some girls like to play and we want to make the site appealing to them as well. people come to have fun and socialize but the game is a war game so keep that in mind as well.
