AquaSoft got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Create a product page for AquaSoft "Creative Subscription"
Check out AquaSoft's Web page design contest…
We sell our own photo software like SlideShow, PhotoCalendar directly to the end users - We need a new product page for our Creative Subscription.
To get some inspiration I list some designs here: http://www.aquasoft.net/SlideShowYouTube_en.as -> This is one example page for another product of ours. The page width must fit in this design, although it could be as height as needed. I’m not sure about the tab-design. I think a page without any tabs would be easier to understand. http://sortfolio.com/company/10457-cultivate-studios#portfolio_image_13741 -> I like using big Icons, Clear separation of the header graphic to the rest of the page. It doesn’t look cluttered http://sortfolio.com/company/6508-openmotive#portfolio_image_8633 -> It’s a little bit like our current homepage (blue navigation bar). I like the clear boxes with their interesting backgrounds in this design.
Please create a landing page for our new product called “AquaSoft Creative Subscription”. The page will be a subpage of our website so the background, borders and page width is fixed. Here is the empty “frame” for the content. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19308979/AquaSoftSubscription/AquaSoft%20-%20PageTemplate.png Please browse through our current homepage to get an overview. The German page (http://www.aquasoft.de) has a more up to date design, more content and products but you may read the English page for a better understanding (http://www.aquasoft.net). The content (text) and a rough structure for the page you can find in this PDF-Document: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19308979/AquaSoftSubscription/AquaSoft%20Creative%20Subscription.pdf (or as a Word Document if you prefer: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19308979/AquaSoftSubscription/AquaSoft%20Creative%20Subscription.docx) Please note that we didn’t translate the FAQ Section to English. But I think it’s only important for you to know that there is this section with this much text. The text doesn't contain a call to action but the web site should do! One or more clear call-to-action-(buttons?) are needed. Because the page is a bit longer with the FAQ the call-to-action should repeat Please don’t rely on the style of our current homepage. Especially the font, size and color of our headlines and sub headlines don’t seem optimal to me. Also we have a variaty of boxes for layouting, but all of them don't seem to fit very well. So don't reuse a style only because it's there. In the document there is a table with five boxes. I’d like to have them layouted some way (maybe like in the document) but not like bullet point after bullet point. The aim is a very elegant website, uncluttered, easy to read and understand. What's most important: it should appeal the user to order the product. The visual flow could be guided with icons, sections, boxes and typography...anything what's needed. To help you with the graphics I uploaded some material (our Logo, 3D-Boxes of the products): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19308979/AquaSoftSubscription/Gfx.zip Maybe you can use them in the header graphic, but you don’t have to. Feel free to be creative.
Our customers are aged mostly 50+, male.
